Zayed University Dubai Meets Marie Antoinette – Day 1

DXB_4242

On the 8th of January 2013, we led Zayed University students back to the 1700’s with our “Marie Antoinette” themed event that featured up and coming brands based in Dubai! The event was sponsored by Mercedes Benz and the fabulous stage was provided by Omar Wedding World! A selection of the brands included: Feathers, Mauzan Velorum. Vintaji, Effa, Mim Design, Lilaiya Designs, Andrea Brocca, Keswah, Fustany, Ladonna, GlamBox and Valleydez. Throughout the event several activities were taking place such as the dress and cake competition. As always we had our 360 Bar with dainty little treats made at home. Students were able to goof around and take pictures at the Poze photo booth! Mauzan’s fashion show also took place on the first day, showcasing their latest collection. For those of you who are wondering, the cake competition was sponsored by Maison Sucre and the participants had to design a cake, while the dress competition required participants to create a Victorian dress using paper.
