When I asked artist Alison Sargent where she would see herself in a few years, her reply was: “I am a dreamer so I’d be at Paris fashion week watching the Balmain or Gucci show, rubbing shoulders with my gal pal Olivia Palermo, before returning to my fabulously chic Parisian apartment to work on some runway illustrations for French Vogue,” she jokes “Realistically … I will probably be living in Abu Dhabi, still drawing and hopefully getting a lot of freelance work and commissions.” Recently she’s been able to commit to her art full-time, which includes drawing with a soft color palette: pastels. Here is a feature of her work, and judging from her fabulous illustrations, it wouldn’t come as a shock if she did indeed get to attend Paris fashion shows in the near future.

Here is an illustration she drew of a piece from the Hamda Al-Fahim collection. Our favorite drawing!
